Check out the Knickerbocker Ice Festival in February and see some magnificent ice sculptures or even ride your snowmobile on one of the many pristine trails in the area. Outside of Lake Mills is the Aztalan State Park. Open year round, this park offers great hiking trails, free tours in the summer months, and many different events throughout the year to celebrate both the park and Native American culture. Old World Wisconsin is also nearby in the neighboring town of Eagle. Old World Wisconsin’s goal is to bring to life the most authentic experience of what life was like for the early settlers in the region. This provides an excellent learning experience for people of all ages and is must stop for those who enjoy history.
